Bio for Delphi Nile
Delphi Nile was born to a Catholic father and Protestant mother in the south of England. Despite being raised vehemently Catholic, the occult called to her from an early age, fueled by curiosity about the Roma heritage on her father’s side—spoken of only in hushed voices and shrouded in mystery, as was much of his family history. This urge to connect with her roots likely prompted her to acquire her first tarot deck in 1992.
Delphi has been practicing Witchcraft since the early 1990s. Although she began with chiromancy and tarot, she quickly devoured every book on divination and magic she could find, from The Golden Bough to the works of the Golden Dawn. By the end of the decade, she had located a working coven in South Wales and was initiated as a Priestess in Alexandrian Witchcraft in 2000.
She now runs her coven, the Scales of the Dyad, and The Moon Temple—a priestess-led monthly healing space. Delphi teaches Witchcraft and Divination, serves as a writing minister for a Pagan chaplaincy, and organizes her own annual Magic and Witchcraft Conference in South Wales. She is absolutely delighted to be presenting for Spectral Evidence this year.
